When you make an appointment with any Dan's Lock and Key office please be aware of the following:
- The vehicle must be present to program the keys or remotes.
- We require VALID GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID for any all lost key situations, no exceptions. In case of mugging or robbery we need a copy of the police report along with a proof of ID such as credit card, two (2) utility bills or login to social media with account registered to legal name of vehicle owner.
- Payment is required at the time of service. All non cash transactions require a positive payment form with 2 forms of ID and 2 credit cards kept on file for 3 years.
Keys and Fobs:
Refurbished OEM- 3 year electronics, 30 day other partsNew OEM- 3 year warranty electronics, 1 year on buttons and contacts, 30 days housing
- Appointments:Our walk in times are 11:00am-3:00pm on Saturday. Outside of those hours please make an appointment as we are normally on the road most of the day unless we are meeting someone for an appointment.
Please be in our shop at your scheduled time. When you arrive please go inside, our counter is to the left as soon as you go in. If you are running late please call us at 215-526-4625 and let us know.
Missed appointments or reschedules at our office with less than 4 hour notice will be charged a $30 fee. We understand emergencies happen, and will charge the fee depending on the circumstance. If we do decide to charge a "no show" fee, it can be used as credit towards a future purchase.
Service calls where we go out to your location and you either refuse service, or no longer need it you will be charged as the following: $15 for every 15 minutes of travel each way (30 minutes away=60 minutes travel time, 30 to you, 30 back to the shop), $50 minimum fee during normal business hours, $80 minimum fee after 8pm, on Sundays, and Holidays.
